Name:
Whyte Fields
Nicknames: Rabbit, Ticks, Clocks
Age:
23
Race Name:
Human
Race Description: Homo Sapien
Racial Powers:
Nothing unusual, though strong and fast for his race.
Description of Character:
A curiosity to most outside of the guard, few know of Whyte's actual appearance, or even name. A mechanical white rabbit helmet/mask completely covers their face bar mouth. A choice of unisex clothing and outfits which shows little skin makes most of Whyte's physical appearance a mystery. What is known is they are 5'4", very fit, fast, and mute.
Outside of the clothes is a young man with a very boyish face. Straight, long, blond hair and bright blue eyes lie under the helmet. An old, large scar is on the front of his neck, a wound which cost him his speech. He has two slight buckteeth, suiting his helmet. When not in a city guard's attire, he generally wears a white jacket over black suspenders and a red shirt with a single giant white heart on it. Similarly, he wears white pants, though they tend to be loose beyond the waist due to his Lucky Jumpers. He wears white gloves with a red heart on each back. Finally, he wears a white and red striped scarf to cover his scar and neck, even in city guard attire.
Character Personality:
Whyte is renown for their punctuality and slight oddities. His love of clockwork and time means he generally like arriving just when told, no sooner, no later. They also enjoy clockwork or mechanical contraptions, building them in their spare time. His love of rabbits and Alice in Wonderland is apparent, and he tries to be a kind individual. However, he is very strict in terms of rules, disliking 'bending' of rules for exceptions. He is not against lenient sentencing, or judgements based on character, but believes everyone should be treated equally and lawfully. As such, he very much dislikes the Vice District and finds the habit of missing criminals in Barrackston disturbing. He is patient and calm most of the time, but if something is causing a lag in his schedule he will begin to grow irritated. He does have a decent sense of humor, enjoying a good prank or joke even among the City Guard and Army of Rune, but as soon as it starts interrupting his work it not longer is appealing. He is fond of being a city guard, protecting people and maintaining order, and excels in rapid response with his exceptional speed.
Inventory:
Worn:
1. Rabbit helmet: A large mechanical white rabbit helmet/mask that covers basically the whole head bar the mouth and chin. The eyes and ears move by subconscious commands, tilting ears, rolling eyes, much like a humanoid rabbit would. It provides a Moderate boost to hearing and sight, and defense. (PL: Moderate boost to Sight, Hearing, Defense)
2. Lucky Jumpers: Two large, white, hydraulic rabbit legs worn over Whyte's legs, increasing his height by 6 inches. They provide a Strong boost to Speed and jumping ability, as well as boosting kick attacks to Moderate. (PL: Strong Jump and Speed, PL: Moderate Kick Damage).
3. Noisemaker: A noisemaker with a series of easy-access statements in his text-to-speech voice. Currently they are "Hello", "Goodbye", "You are Under Arrest", "Yes", "No", "Maybe", "Thank you" and "Understood".
Carried:
1. The Twice Pendulum: A 6' clock pendulum with a grip and pommel is Whyte's personal weapon, dealing Strong damage from the blunt clockpiece. Through some mystic Time ability, each time an opponent is struck by the Pendulum, they feel a second blow one second later despite no obvious cause. (PL: Strong)
2. The Keepsake: At first glance, this looks like a comically large pocketwatch attached to him via a thick leather strap. It in actuality is more an advanced shield/laptop device. When open, it has a touch screen and the general abilities of a computer, including web connectivity, communication and video camera functionalities. When closed, its hardy casing can function as a suitable shield, providing Moderate defense. It also has a text-to-speech generator when open, which allows communication to be slightly easier. However, it tends to emit a 'Tick, tock' sound as if a giant pocketwatch regardless of mode, which can either be pleasant or highly irritating depending on the person. (PL: Moderate Defense).
3. 3x Handcuffs
4. Pepper spray (PL: ?)
5. Taser (PL: ?)
Home: (Barrackston)
1. A number number of clockwork or mechanical pieces and devices, from gears and sprockets to astrolabes, music boxes and mechanical calculators.
