Name: Jacob "Jake" Ryker
Age: 19
Race Name: Human
Race Description: Ye gods, what be this hoo-man thing?
Racial Powers: None. Jake does have a natural affinity for magic.
Blink - Jake can teleport in one direction for 10 meters (roughly 33 feet) or until he hits an object, whichever hits first. He cannot fire off multiple Blinks within two combat turns of each other without losing the ability to Blink for the rest of the thread.
Description of Character: Jake is a bizarre one. One look should tell you that. Maybe it's the way he dresses like an average American teenager but makes references to philosophies and science typically above an American teenager's intellectual pay grade. Maybe it's his blond hair and gray eyes that both turn black as he casts magic. Maybe it's his knack for making nearly every joint in his body audibly crack.
If I'm going to be completely honest, it's probably his actions. Let's talk about that shall we?
Character Personality:
Jake is a technical pacifist, meaning that while he may engage in combat with zero problems, having to kill his opponent goes about as well as a cat in a cat-hating convention.
Jake's mind runs like a roller coaster hooked up to a normal train system. His thoughts and emotions can shift rapidly at the drop of a hat, but with the same level of stimulus, his thoughts can slow down and reach deeper ideas, which inevitably become the baseline for the manic phase of his existence, and the vicious cycle continues.
Inventory:
Theme Song: Keep Singing - Rick Astley
Character Specific Wants/Limits
Wants:
-I really like playing with Jake's morality for some reason, his sanity too, but forcing Jake to abandon morality for some reason? Grade A stuff.
Limits:
-Only hurt limit: Whatever is done physically has got to be either temporary or merely add a cosmetic scar.(Although knowing me, I'll probably revive him somewhere around a year later) Mentally, we can screw with him however we want.

- High Jump Shoes - These black shoes look as if they were pulled straight from some 1993 baseball movie
(*koffkoff*The Sandlot*koff*). Unlike shoes from 1993, these /actually/ make Jake jump higher. Wearing these, he is capable of jumping 3 meters (Almost ten feet) straight up. They also come with the requisite secondary power of removing fall damage, though they can get overloaded by 20 meters or more. - Located on feet. - Smartphone - Clarke's Third Law in action, this small device allows a man to do everything from call a friend to control the lights in their house. Jake has it connected to his various digital currency accounts as a veritable digital wallet. He has somewhere between twenty to thirty million Dogecoins. - In pocket.
Theme Song: Keep Singing - Rick Astley
When I was a boy,
I saw my daddy crying at the steering wheel
And oh, it made me feel so scared
Then there was joy,
Found my religion, swimming in a of voices
And oh, I knew that I'd been spared
That I'd be saved some sunny day
Saved from throwing my life away
That I'd be saved some sunny day
From throwing my life, throwing my life away
Keep singing, woah, keep singing
Praising to the heavens with my voice ringing
Keep singing, woah, keep singing
Clap to the beat 'till my hands are stinging
And I'd be saved some sunny day
From throwing my life (throwing my life),
Throwing my life (throwing my life) away
And now I understand
I'm a wide eyed father, blessed are the children
Oh our greatest reward
And with these hands,
I'll move a mountain, build a castle to keep you safe
Of this, you know you can be sure
And you'll be saved some sunny day
Saved from throwing your life away
And you'll be saved some sunny day
From throwing your life, throwing your life away
Keep singing, woah, keep singing
Praising to the heavens with your voices ringing
Keep singing, woah, keep singing
Clap to the beat 'till your hands are stinging
And you'll be saved some sunny day
From throwing your life (throwing your life),
Throwing your life (throwing your life) away
Who do you love?
When it all comes down to truth
Who do you love?
When it all comes back to you
Who do you love?
When you're lying in your bed
Who do you love?
Who do you love?
Keep singing, woah, keep singing
Pray, keep singing, woah, keep singing
Pray, keep singing, woah, keep singing
Pray, keep singing, woah, keep singing
And you'll be saved some sunny day
Saved from throwing your life away
And you'll be saved some sunny day
From throwing your life, from throwing your life away
Keep singing, woah, keep singing
