[Ketrix] sat at the counter in the karaoke bar, sipping a bright, fruity cocktail as she hummed along to a young demon's slightly off-key rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart. In front of her was an open journal with notes jotted down in glittery purple ink, separated with heart-shaped bullet points: one of many client 'files' she maintained. While she did have her own office space over in the Blue district, she liked to read her notes and consider options in other spaces. You never knew when or where the perfect match would show themselves, after all. Or a potential new client, for that matter.
The client she was concentrating on at the moment was a lirina, hence the choice of locale Among other things, she wanted someone to harmonize with, so Ketrix was keeping an ear out for a complementary voice. The current singer, obviously, wasn't a good match in that respect, but it was early yet.
